Welcome to my brand new blog

Hello

My name is Matt. I am the Man from the Investment Property Shop and it's Blog.

I am a commercial airline pilot as well as owning and running the IPS. I use my extensive overseas travel to identify emerging overseas property markets and opportunities within established markets.

My partner is a UK property lawyer who casts her legal eye over all that we do.

I will use this blog to communicate interesting facts and opportunities garnered whilst abroad and at home in an attempt to make your overseas property purchases run more smoothly.

I would really like you to Have Your Say on the U@IPS blog. Communicate your experiences of inspection trips, buying abroad, emerging markets and general feedback.

To post you will need to register by following the link in the left hand menu.

Yours

Matt

Properties in Malaysia - particularly Banyan Curve in Port Dickson Malaysia. If you have been there would you consider it a good investment?

Thank you for commenting on my blog.

I last visited this region of Malaysia in 2003 but was unaware of the planned development of Banyan Curve at Port Dickson at the time.

I am currently carrying out due diligence regarding this development with the intention of purchasing a Water Chalet myself prior to the 30th of April price increases.

I am also looking to recommend this development to a few investment portfolio clients.

The guaranteed 8% rental return for 13 years is an attractive proposition when considered alongside the potential for healthy capital growth.
